The Bury St Edmunds Concert Band was formed from a small group of musicians, who got together one night in 1991 to play for fun. From there, the Band grew into the 50 strong membership we have today. Under the direction of Rob Wicks, the Band performs regularly throughout the year. From our sell out Last Night of the Proms concerts and themed concerts at the Theatre Royal to Christmas Celebrations at St Mary's Church in Bury, we can also be seen and heard in the Abbey Gardens and on Charter Square.
Rehearsals
We rehearse every Monday evening at 7:30pm, at Christ Church, Lawson Place, Moreton Hall, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. IP32 7EW.
